Cerbios Pharma SA (www.cerbios.ch) is a Swiss Pharmaceutical Company manufacturing also probiotics and researching new applications in different therapeutic areas, over traditional ones. Since more than 40 years Cerbios has been producing under GMP its proprietary living strain E. lactis SF68® , for treatment of gastro-intestinal disorders (diarrhea & dysbiosis by antibiotics), and market leader in Switzerland due to its unique characteristics. On other hands, given the centrality of microbiota (gut flora) and its role on several diseases (on skin, metabolism/obesity, CNS) and how probiotics can be functional to their management , Cerbios continued to investigate new application of its probiotic strain, also in other unconventional therapeutic areas. Results is development of innovative finished products targeting: - SF68 Skinactive (Acne, Seborrheic dermatitis), with clinical trial; - SF68 SLIPIDO (Cholesterol, Obesity and metabolic syndrome), with preclinical and clinical trials published;. - SF68 IBSoft (IBS), with preclinical evidences and trial planned for Q1-2027
